About LABELVIEW

LABELVIEW is a barcode label design software solution developed by TEKLYNX available in two editions: Pro and Gold. With its powerful built-in features, LABELVIEW Gold can produce color-coded file folder labels to replace ColorBar labels.

TEKLYNX worked with former Smead ColorBar customers to develop several label templates that easily replace ColorBar label templates. The samples use advanced VBScript to achieve color coding, but the end user never has to see or interact with the VBScript. Simply enter (or connect) your data and print!

DOWNLOAD LABELVIEW TRIAL

1. Download your free 30-day LABELVIEW trial
   The installation file will be sent to you via email. Download and run the installation file. Follow the prompts to install your free 30-day trial. 
   
   
2. Select LABELVIEW Gold edition
   The LABELVIEW trial installation defaults to the LABELVIEW Pro edition. To change the edition, go to Tools > Configuration > Product Mode and select LABELVIEW Gold. You must restart the software for this change to take effect. 
   
   
3. Download the free Smead ColorBar replacement label sample pack
   Save the .ZIP file to your computer. Right-click on the file and choose Extract All... and follow the prompts. 
   
   
4. Customize the label sample to meet your needs
   Open one of the Smead ColorBar replacement label templates. Use the print form to enter variable text. You can also connect to a database to automatically pull in variable data. Move, resize, or edit any objects on the label. Click on File > Save As... and save your customized template to your preferred location.

5. Print your new file folder label
   Click on File > Select Printer... and select or add your printer. Click Ok. Next, click File > Print, enter your variable data, and print your label.
