The Real Good Life is a meal delivery service based in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. Since 2016, The Real Good Life has served Milwaukee residents with nutritious, delicious foods as a cost-effective and convenient option to get meals on the table. With the mission statement, “Feed their senses. Nourish your soul,” The Real Good life experienced exponential growth, which affected their current labeling needs.
“Our old labeling process included nice looking labels with our logo and a link to an instruction page, but I had to handwrite the name of the dish and date on every product label—I lost hours of time to do that.” stated Maggie Joos, Owner and Founder of The Real Good Life. “Now that our business has quadrupled, I can’t imagine how long it would take.” The Real Good Life wanted to implement labeling software that could support them with their growing labeling needs, create accurate labels for their delivery bags and food packaging, eliminate manual processes, and provide technical support along the way. Their original labeling process was completely manual.
The Real Good Life was looking for a labeling software provider that could:
Maggie was connected to Nick Recht, TEKLYNX Enterprise Product Manager. He was eager to help Maggie and The Real Good Life find their ideal label printing software and educate and support them throughout the transition process to help limit IT interaction.
TEKLYNX recognized how important it was for The Real Good Life to have ease of use when it came to their labeling needs. Maggie collaborated with Nick to determine that LABELVIEW, TEKLYNX robust barcode label creation and integration software, was the right fit for The Real Good Life. This solution would help The Real Good Life eliminate manual labeling processes, giving Maggie and her team more freedom to focus on growing their business.
With the help of Recht and the rest of the TEKLYNX team, Joos and The Real Good Life were set up with LABELVIEW to eliminate manual processes and put the focus back on their main goal of delivering meals to families. “Now that we have LABELVIEW, it takes a matter of seconds to print labels,” states Joos. “If we have a new product that needs to be entered into the database we simply open an Excel spreadsheet, add the data, and it’s ready to go.”
With their newly implemented label printing software, LABELVIEW, The Real Good Life successfully eliminated their old labeling process of manually writing the name of the dish and date on every product label while saving Maggie headaches with the technical side. “In a world where every different software comes with its own set of problems, we haven’t had that with TEKLYNX. They have only had solutions.”
Now, The Real Good Life can focus on their goal of opening up more locations across North America to “Feed their senses. Nourish your soul.” “The Real Good life holds a special place with the TEKLYNX team because it’s a local business helping our community,” says TEKLYNX Americas General Manager, Doug Niemeyer. “I am proud knowing that our barcode label design software, LABELVIEW, and our TEKLYNX team can support the Real Good Life now and into the future.”
