Why do I receive a “PRTDRV32… ERROR CODE 11”, or a “PRINTER ALREADY INSTALLED” error when I try to add a printer? |

This error usually appears because the printer remains in the registry after being removed from the Windows printer folder. To correct the problem under, Windows 2000 or NT platform, shut down LABELVIEW, and open your Windows printer folder. Then within the printers folder go to File, Server Properties and select the drivers tab. From here remove all instances of the driver that you are trying to install.
Restart the PC and then go into LABELVIEW and add the printer there. If you have Windows 98 or 95 we recommend contacting your IT department because you will have to go into the registry and remove all instances of the driver you are attempting to install.
